The Bride Wore White

I've longing to create a bridal piece, and so, this was my first attempt. The Bride Wore White Cuff... a work in progress.

She will be missed

Elizabeth Taylor (February 27, 1932 – March 23, 2011) in my old time favourite, Cleopatra.

Be Inspired

It's Dolce & Gabbana ads campaign 2009! I know, it's a bit way back in time, but I simply adore the heavy styling and cinematographic composition. The ads uses juxtaposed of light & shadow, combine delicate piece with more edgy look. Decked in Marie Antoinette-style parlour, each models wearing a mish mash of hipster & retro chic in denim, tulle & jacquard.

New cuff on it's way

Hello dearies! I have been neglecting my blog bad. It's hard to juggled between day work, jewelry making and personal matters *sigh* . However, I'm back to create something new. I have found the joy of working with feathers. Right after the The Queen's Dollmaker cuff have been sold, I've decided to create another cuff which incorporate feathers.

The cuff is still in trial & error basis, but I promise to post some pictures when it is ready. I hope the outcome will be equally stunning as Marie Antoinette who gives me the inspiration to use feathers in my designs.
