Pocket Full Of Sunshine

What's up dearies!? I hope you're having a wonderful day today, I know I am. :) I've just finished polishing these little beauties and straightaway up-loaded them. The pattern here reminds me of the sun, hence I called them Pocket full of Sunshine!

These little darlings are really petite! They measures only 1.85" from those handmade kidney ear-wires. Something that you can wear everyday on every occasion. These eye candy earrings are drape in the most simple color palette of yellow and pink, the combination of gorgeous Mystic Pink Topaz Beads and precious Citrine Rondelles. To me, it's the shades of sweet girlish innocence, storybook romance and everything sugar & spice.

A simplicity with understated glamor.

Papillon Bleu

Mother's Day had given me the inspiration to created this next piece. Unlike me who always love bold and dramatic kind of jewelry, mum always go for small pieces for her collection and I thought that I would create something different this time, something petite in figure. They turned out just incredibly stunning! I love em'! The gemmies here are:-

~ Blue Chalcedony
~ Citrine Rondelles
~ Magnificent AAA Gem Grade Sky Blue Topaz.

I'm quite satisfied with the wire-work technique that I'm using, something that's really a work of my own, lots of filigree motives and very feminine. :)

Morgiana's Dance

I was going through some of my old materials and the idea of creating something out of recycle components really excites me (since I have ran out of sterling silver). Some of the creations I have already post and next is this gorgeous slave bracelet - {MORGIANA'S DANCE}. I am really into this sort of bracelet lately. Somehow I found them to be very unique and packs serious fashion punch onto any ensemble.

No one knows exactly the origins of slave bracelet. They have different names in different regions. According to historian, E.J Alagoa, Portuguese slave traders often paid for slaves in Portuguese coins called manillas, which the Nigerian traders fashioned into intricate bracelets. While in India, slave bracelet is a popular ornaments amongst the newly wed bride from ancient times and not of slavery. Through time, the slave bracelet became a fashion ornaments. In "Twentieth Century American Fashion," Linda Welters describes slave bracelet as being popular in the mid-1920s. She describe the flappers' version was a bracelet made of rectangular links, often connected with enamel links and were worn in multiples.

Morgiana's Dance is composed entirely out of antique brass materials and drizzled in sparkly Swarovski crystals in nuances of purple. Over the top, below the chain ring is a circle of swirly wire-works accompanied by a beautiful maroon rhinestone (recycle component).

The inspiration beauty behind this creation is Morgiana, a clever, faithful female servant of Ali Baba, who pries into the forty jars, and discovers every jar, but one, contains a man. She takes oil from the only one containing it and, having made it boiling hot, pours enough into each jar to kill the thief concealed there. At last she kills the captain of the gang while she performs an intriguing dance, and marries her master's son.

Peacock Alley

Peacocks are one of my favorite animals mainly because they are extraordinary beautiful creatures and also their symbolism goes far beyond appearance. In general, the peacock is representative of glory, immortality, royalty, and incorruptibility.

Handcrafted from antique brass wires and embellished with sparkly Swarovski Crystals & pearls, The Peacock Alley Earrings is far beyond gorgeous! :) Although the wrapping technique is kept to a minimal look, there are still some few details to marvel at, for instance don’t you just love the looks of those spiral pins and the clustery pink Swarovski with teeny tiny white seed beads? Delightful…

Right in the middle is a stunning huge Czech Crystal! It’s pretty awesome and its sparkles like crazy. Peacock Alley Earrings drop approximately 2.5” from top of the earring hook with a wide of 1” in diameter.

Now don't you think that this pair kind of exude the gypsy look? Just a thought...:)

City of Brass & Crystals

Last week I have been doing some pieces in antique brass and gorgeous sparkly authentic Swarovski crystals. I've decided to make full use of these materials since they have been resting inside a dusty old box for quite some time now and created a new line for my shop - City of Brass & Crystals. However this collection is only for a limited of supplies only.

Here are some of the pretty baubles...
